Breakfast Roundtable - Corporate Immigration Policies

It is the beginning of a New Year and now is the perfect time to make sure that all of your company policies are updated and in order.  LMAC would like to continue its roundtable series with a session on Drafting and Revising Corporate Immigration Policies.  You may have been thinking about putting one together but have not had the time.  Your company may have one that was written a few years ago which may not comply with current rules and regulations, or doesn't cover many of the issues arising in a changing economy and marketplace.

This in-person roundtable will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 8:30 am at our office, and will cover a wide range of issues with plenty of time for Q&A.

Some of the topics that we will cover include:

Why should your company have an immigration policy?

What issues should your company consider including?

What are other companies doing right now?

What agreements can be made with employees in return for immigration assistance?

Why should these policies be drafted and/or revised by an attorney?

What areas of an existing policy need to be reviewed and revised?

How does the economy and changes in immigration policy affect a company's immigration policy?
